Water Scarcity

    Hi, today I will talk to you  about a very important issue at both the global and national levels, "water scarcity".

    Lack of water may be an issue that is not given proper importance or is believed to be many years away from the end of this resource, but reality and studies show otherwise. Many sources project that in a few years, many countries will not have this natural resource or that it will diminish successively until it is completely finished.

    In Chile, several studies talk about droughts in different regions of the country and that the few precipitations do not solve this problem. This is closely related to climate change, specifically global warming, which is causing various environmental impacts and for which we are main responsible.

    It is also important to note that the lack of protection of the environmental resource and its overexploitation are generating social impacts both in terms of work and the quality of life of people, because water is the most important means of subsistence for the population.

    As we are people living on the planet, we must understand that all our actions are influencing environmental changes, especially water scarcity, so we need a transformational change and understand that the challenges with this water resource are not only related to the decrease of rainfall, but also with excessive consumption and poor water management.

    For all the above, you have to take care of the water, to be able to continue living properly and to last on the planet for many centuries more.
